Target Now Has A New Way To Save More...

Recently Target rolled out a new way to save even more, it is called Cartwheel .  You have to register and you can load 10 coupons, they are store coupons and are for a small percentage off the items.  The nice thing is you can stack the cartwheel savings, with a store coupon, and a manufacturer coupon!  Registration is free and you can load your cartwheel savings to your mobile phone or print out your list and take to the store.  I prefer the printed list, that way I can check off the items I'm buying.  It is so simple to use.  Be sure to sign up and get started, because right now there are savings for the Up & Up back to school supplies.

One last thing, each time you redeem savings and when you get a friend to join you will unlock more spaces in your account for more discounts.

Target Stores Short Changing Coupons.

Update:  Coupon Blogger Jill Cataldo has posted today the over the weekend Target Corp issued an immediate change to the coupon policy.  You can read more about it here.  Thanks Jill for informing your readers.  The change should eliminate the shortage on coupons.

If you shop at Target and use coupons you will want the read the Chicago Tribunes article on the coupon issue occurring at Target stores nationwide.  Since the summer consumers have noticed that their coupons for multiple items are not ringing up a the full face value, the registers are adjusting the coupon to reflect a lower price.  This has happened to me on several occasions.  I've quit using coupons for multiples at Target because of this.

If you live in the Chicago land area, tonight CBS 2 is doing a story on this.
