Meliss & Doug Wooden Lacing Shoe, A Toy to Teach Shoe Tying To Kids!

I found this great toy online, when I searched for shoe lacing. This wooden shoe is made by Melissa & Doug (I absolutely love their wooden toys and puzzles).
You see my 7yr old and 6yr both cannot tie their shoes. We have tried everything to teach them, short of nailing an old shoe to a board. I saw this online and decided I would give it a try. The best thing is that I found this one at my local Whole Foods, for $11.99. On the bottom of the shoe are the steps to tying shoes in picture form. My oldest tried it out on Friday night and had no luck. On Saturday, bingo after several attempts, he did tie it once. Whoo Hoo! Success right, wrong he says he can't do it, he needs help. I am not giving up! I think he will get the hang of it with practice. My younger son has not attempted to tie the shoe, yet. He is more interested in taking the lace out and re-lacing the shoe, I am not complaining its a place to start!
My 3yr old wants to learn to tie the shoe! Amazon.com has this great toy.
