The local news ran this story this morning. I think its time to contact my local state senator to express my concerns over this. Seriously, will this really help ease the budget crisis facing school districts across Illinois? Maybe just maybe the Illinois general assembly needs to stop spending money on all the "pork" projects they want for their individual districts! Will a 4 day school week really help the children of Illinois?
