Thursday Jan. 21 National Call in day, H.R. 4247/S.2860 Preventing Harmful Restraint and Seclusion in Schools Act.

I got an email today from one of the support groups I am apart of. ASA is working closely with TASH and have planned a national call in day Thursday January 21st. This a day to contact your congressional rep to ask them to support this bill. Here is the email, " From ASA:

I wanted to pass along this important message from TASH, a disability organization with whom the Autism Society works closely. I hope that you are able to participate in the National Call-in Day, on Thursday, January 21, and ask your members of Congress to co-sponsor the Preventing Harmful Restraint and Seclusion in Schools Act (H.R. 4247/S. 2860).

This legislation would provide students with and without disabilities vital protections against abuse in schools.
