Children's Memorial Hospital Chicago, Food Allergy Study

I received an email from one of the Autism groups with the information below in it.  I thought I would share it.

"Children's Memorial Hospital is conducting a study to better understand food

allergies—what causes them, how to prevent them, and the best ways to treat

them. The research team has already enrolled 500 families, and is hoping to

recruit 500 more for this study. If you have at least one food-allergy affected

child (ages 0-21 years), and both biological parents willing to participate,

please call 1-(888)-573-1833 or email allergystudy@.... If

both parents aren't available, your child may still be eligible to participate

in a separate study.

The study involves a questionnaire and clinical evaluation. Each participant

will receive a $25 gift card to Target, free parking and additional gift card(s)

to cover travel expenses. Please consider participating in this important

study, which will hopefully shed more light on the growing problem of food

allergies in the U.S.

If you would like to pick up a brochure that describes this study in more

detail, please feel free to stop by Whole Foods and ask for me—I have a packet

of them and would be more than happy to hand them out to anyone who is

interested.
