My Favorite sites Coupon Sites for Organics, Allergy Free (GF/CF, Egg Free) Foods
I never thought I could actually save a little money on the foods my kids need as a result of their Autism and food allergies. I thought I would share some of the sites I find coupons for organics, allergy free (GF/CF Egg, Soy free) foods.
Whole Foods offers a bi-monthly flier called the Whole Deal, which contains coupons in the back for use only at Whole Foods. The Whole Deal is only available in stores while supplies last. Whole Foods also has Gluten Free items under the store label, which is always priced less than the speciality labels.
Delicious Living magazine has e-coupons for printing
HealthEsavers
Organic Prairie have GF/CF meats; hot dogs, lunch meat
Organic Valley organic dairy products
Mambo Sprouts
R.W. Knudsen Family organic juices
Santa Cruz Organic juices, peanut butter, apple sauce
Wild Harvest Organics
Stoneyfield Farmscoupons for Stoneyfield, Annies, and more.
Ians Natural Foodscoupons change often
Fruitabu join the Smooshed Squad and receive coupons (it takes a while for your coupon to arrive) watch for the fruit twirls at Target SuperCenters. Target tends to have the lowest price on them.
AppleGate Farms gf/cf meats; hot dogs, deli meat, bacon sign the Child Nutrition act and get a $1 off coupon
Rice Dreams$.75 off coupon
So Deliciousno coupons currently, but they do have them at times.
CherryBrook Kitchens CBK rewards, free coupon with 8 bottom flaps from mixes.
I will say it is hard to find coupons for many foods needed for the "Diet" (Gluten Free/Casein Free Diet). I suggest checking out the manufacturers website to see if a printable is available or even write to them directly. In these tough economic times $.50 here $.75 there do add up over time.
Keep a price book, get an inexpensive notebook give each item a page. Keep track of what that item cost's at each store that carries it at regular price and the sale prices (sale prices vary depending on time of year). This will help to see where and when the products used most are at their best price. This helps to save a little more money. Here is an Example:
Blue Diamond Almond Breeze 32oz. box.
Woodman's (local market)$1.99 (price increase 1/09) $2.14 each, sale price $1.49 October 2008 4 weeks,
Target $2.89 each
Whole Foods $2.99 each, sale 2/$4 (2 for $4) or $2 each
Fruitful Yield (local health food store) $2.39 each already discounted 20% of suggested retail
Trader Joe's $1.99 each.
As you can see Trader Joe's has the lowest retail price, but Woodman's has the lowest sale price. The price book will help over time to track the stores with the best prices.
