Gluten Free/Casein Free/Egg Free Chocolate Cookie balls recipe

This is the most simple cookie recipe I have ever tried. I did adapt this recipe so my kids with food allergies could enjoy it. There are only two ingredients,
2 packages of Kinni-Too chocolate cream sandwich cookies
1 tub 8oz of tofutti cream "cheese" plain

Using a food processor chop up the cookies until almost crumbs. Bring the cream cheese to room temperature. Place the cream cheese in the food processor with the cookie crumbs a process until it forms a dough ball. Then roll the dough into 1 inch balls. This makes about 6 1/2 dozen cookie balls. Store in the refrigerator.

The original recipe I found on a local radio stations websiteWLIT 93.9 FM. This is a Chicago land favorite at the holidays. Their playing holiday music 24/7 through Christmas Day. They are hosting an online cookie exchange. Check it out!

The original recipe is called Oreo Balls; 4 pkgs of Oreo cookies and 15 oz of cream cheese. Crumble the Oreo's in a food processor, bring cream cheese to room temperature and add to the crumbs process until a dough ball forms. Shape into 1 inch balls makes about 12 dozen balls. Store in the refrigerator. If your food processor is not large enough to hold all the cookies and cream cheese, I placed the cream cheese in my stand mixer and add the cookie crumbs and mixed for about 2 minutes.

I took 6 dozen to a Christmas party last night, I only had 8 left on the plate at the end!
